Get measured and fitted all in the same day and still have time to visit a museum or have lunch with an L.A. based friend or client. Spend the day pampering yourself by having a bespoke suit made by Johnathan Behr and still be home in time for dinner. Sample Timeline- 10am: Fly into Los Angeles International Airport or Burbank Airport. Johnathan Behr will be awaiting the client’s arrival and will drive the client to his shop on the Miracle Mile, the Mid-Wilshire district of Los Angeles. 11am: Johnathan Behr will have a meeting set up in his private showroom to discuss the client’s sartorial needs. He will show you a comprehensive selection of the finest imported fabrics and go over the many different style options. Once a fabric and style have been selected, Johnathan will take all the necessary measurements and quickly begin the creation of the client's personal paper pattern. 12:30pm: While the client is enjoying a relaxing lunch at one of the many fine cafes and restaurants or visiting one of the museums near the showroom, Johnathan Behr and his team of tailors will be undergoing the most crucial step of the bespoke process: The creation of your paper pattern and preparing the "basted fitting". This is where the the client’s personal paper pattern is laid atop the fabric and cut and then "basted" together so that the suit, in it's infant stage, can be fitted and fine-tuned on the client's back. The paper pattern and basted fitting are the most essential steps in the creation of a bespoke suit. 2:30pm: Once the client has enjoyed a relaxing lunch and perhaps has strolled at one of the world -class museums (The Los Angeles County Museum of Art or the Peterson Auto Museum), Johnathan Behr will have the client try on the "basted fitting" of his suit. At this crucial fitting, Johnathan Behr will make sure the measurements and pattern are accurate and correct any issues regarding fit. It is also the time for the client to discuss how the suit is fitting and make any changes he would like to have implemented before the suit is finished. The basted fitting takes 30 minutes or less to complete. 3:30pm: Johnathan Behr will drive the client back to the Los Angeles International Airport or Burbank Airport. The Johnathan Behr Bespoke Suit will be shipped to the client within 2 to 3 weeks in most conditions.
